7 sunsets

These are seven of my photos of the sunset in various places this year. I really love to chase sunsets whenever I could because it gives me a feeling of nostalgia and hope.

Discovering the Iloilo sand bar

My friends and I almost forgot that we booked a piso-fare promo flight to Iloilo City from Cebu Pacific in May 2016. We only remembered it almost two weeks before our flight. We are that busy that it almost did not cross our mind. Haha.

Anyway, we pushed through with our short vacation to Iloilo from March 7-10, 2017. We had an amazing time!

We went to Concepcion, Iloilo for an island tour instead of going to Guimaras. We rode a bus and it took three hours to get to Concepcion.

Upon arrival, we went straight to the Tourism Office to pay for the environmental fee and register our names. We had a prearranged boat service that will take us to Bulubadiangan Island and Sand Bar which cost us Php 2,000 because we weren’t able to join a group.

It was a bit expensive but so worth it. Seeing the island and its long stretch of sand bar was so breathtaking. There were also a few tourists on the island because it was a weekday. It was so beautiful and peaceful at the same.

Although it was cloudy that day, we managed to take some photos of the island.  Here  are some of the photos I took at the Bulubadiangan Island.

Trip to Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar

I went to Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan with my friend for a photowalk and to celebrate her birthday!

It was raining and the sky was gray but it didn’t stop us from traveling there last November 26 via commute. We rode the Bataan Transit bus from the Doroteo Jose, Manila terminal to reach Balanga, Bataan. As soon as we get there, we rode a jeep going to Bagac and from Bagac, another tricycle ride to reach Las Casas.

We paid Php 1,000.00 for the day tour even if we opt not to join the guided tour. But, that’s okay. Exploring the resort all by ourselves was still so worth it.

Actually, the photowalk was really fun because the weather was cool, almost like in Baguio City, and we were able to explore the entire resort without any hassle.

I hope to visit this place again perhaps during the Summer season. I would love to take photos of the heritage houses with the blue sky as backdrop <(^_^)/

Location: Mt. Pulag,  Kabayan, Benguet
Date: May 4-6, 2012

Repost from my secret blog:

Here’s my take on the breathtaking view of Mt. Pulag and its terrain. I went there with my friends on May 4, 2012. It was a wonderful experience even if it took us 2 days to reach the summit. However, I was able to process my photos a year later, hence, the year in the watermark.

What made it more amazing was the reason behind our climb. Me and 13 of my friends stood witness to a very romantic and extra ordinary wedding proposal at the Mt. Pulag Summit.
