Magical hues

Most Saturdays, you will find me in our laundry area located at the rooftop of our house to wash our clothes. I’m no Cinderella. Each family member just have their respective tasks in the house because no one else will do it for us. My task is to do the laundry. It’s quite easy since I only have to put the clothes in the washing machine and wait. Waiting, by the way, is very much in my vocabulary. But, that’s another story.

Anyway, I usually finish washing our clothes by sunset and sunset is my most favorite time of the day. For me, it’s a magical hour since I get to see the glorious masterpiece of God from our rooftop—the way the light turns to darkness and the sky becomes a huge canvas painted with hues of orange, red, yellow, blue and gray as the sun sets in the west.

Here are some of the photos I took last year while watching the sunset from our rooftop. 🙂
